Richard Lafferty’s Summary

I am actively seeking work. I would like to find an entry level Public Relations role in the Boston, MA, area.

I have been working in the IT sector since 1994; starting as an IT assistant and progressing on to Webmaster. After working as a Database Administrator at the University of Auckland I realized that I liked working with people as well as a machines.

In 2009 I did a one year, full-time course in Public Relations and Communications at AUT University, Auckland, New Zealand.

I want to use my IT skills to help create communication solutions (both internal and external) for small to medium sized companies.

I am particularly interested in the Green Sector: renewable energy and clean technology.
