Stephen Blyth’s Summary

I am a self-employed community ICT development worker. My focus is on supporting effective use by good causes of the internet for outreach, collaboration, enhanced productivity, fundraising and knowledge sharing.

Until recently I was project manager for CommunityCentral, a national project building an online communications platform for the tangata whenua, community and voluntary sector.

While I'm excited by the potential for using social media and online tools to help bring about social and environmental change, I'm also conscious that without training and support people can't use them powerfully. That's why I'm writing and running training sessions, as well as consulting and advising organisations.
